British rapidplay chess second day starting well and on time 9:30. The  picturesque town of Ilkley looked well.
The charity events went well. In the Open sadly Nigel Davies was not well and had to withdraw. 
We thank him for his faithful support of the event.
 Dominic Klingher was doing very well, but unfortunately slipped up. This of course  let the top Spanish player Daniel Alsina Leal in.
We congratulate him on his fine win in the Open.
